Step 1: Create or retrieve your FSA ID

First-time applicants must create an FSA ID which will be used to log into the FAFSA application and serve as your legal signature. 它还允许你访问所有 联邦学生资助在线系统. 创建您的 FSA ID在线. Step 2: Collect your appropriate documents

• Transfer your FAFSA information to the PA州拨款申请. If you’re a Pennsylvania resident, you will be given the option to transfer your information to the PA州拨款申请 when 提交ting your FAFSA. 在你的 FAFSA confirmation page, look for the link that reads Optional Feature—Start your state application—Click here if you want to apply for Pennsylvania state-based financial aid. If you closed out of your browser too soon, log into PHEAA to complete the PA州拨款申请 process.

Step 4: Ensure your FAFSA has been received by Montco

About 3-5 days after the FAFSA is 提交ted, you will receive a confirmation and your FAFSA Submission Summary, which is sent to most applicants via email (some will be 经U发送.S. 邮件). Double-check the information on this summary is accurate and that it includes Montco’s school code 004452. If you need to make corrections, login to FAFSA的网站 to edit your application and re提交.
